This artwork titled ‘Thresholds’ is a series of doors that invites the viewer to consider the negative space. Through playful and abstract cutouts, the audience is encouraged to reflect on what the forms both conceal and reveal about the space they sit in.
The work encourages participants to physically "open and close" these pieces, shifting their line of view and prompting ideas of transition and access. In interacting with these familiar objects, the audience actively defines a “point of entry”, promoting objects and movements as shaping the experience of space.
